Quality Improvement Partnership

The Quality Improvement Partnership is an intensive technical assistance project offering assessment, observation, mentoring, and technical assistance aimed at meeting identified goals to improve program quality.

 

The Quality Improvement Partnership is a project lasting a minimum of 12 weeks.  During the first visit, an intial program assessment will be conducted using the appropriate Environmental Rating Scale (ERS).  During the second visit, the assessment scores and initial observations will be shared with the program staff or provider and a quality improvement plan will be developed.  A Memorandum of Understanding outlining responsibilities will be signed by the program staff or provider and the mentor or specialist with Family Enrichment Network.  The following visists will vary by program, depending upon the needs, but will consist of a combination of training, mentoring, coaching, modeling, observations, and technical assistance all aimed at meeting the identified goals and improving program quality. The project will end upon either the program staff/provider or specialist request, when all goals are met, no more improvements are made, when ERS scores show high quality, or when agreed upon responsibilities are not followed through.  A final assessment will be conducted at the end of the project.
