FEN Recipient of Walmart Grant

Walmart presented Family Enrichment Network with a $2,000 grant at the opening day ceremony of the new Johnson City Walmart. Grant funds will be utilized to support our summer food program. The Summer Food Services Program is free to all children 18 years of age and younger. We have seen an influx in the number of community parents in need of nutritious meals, yet adults over 18 years of age are not reimbursable through the Summer Food Services program. As a result, these funds will help support the costs associated with parent meals.
