Families Together: Within My Reach®
FAQ
What is Within My Reach? It is a skills and decision making program for helping individuals achieve their goals in relationships, family, and marriage designed by PREP (Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program). Within My Reach is designed to improve the chances for participants to attain relationship success for themselves and their children. We do this by helping couples become more stable and supporting those in damaging relationships to leave safely and choose future partners more wisely.
What will I learn in Within My Reach? The program focuses on what healthy relationships are and what they are not, knowing yourself, making your own decisions, dangerous relationship patterns, where conflict begins, smart communication, infidelity, distrust, forgiveness, reaching forward into your future and much more!
Can my partner come to Within My Reach with me?Within My Reach was designed for individuals to attend the class by themselves regardless if they are in a relationship or not. If someone is interested in taking a class with their partner, they would register for Within Our Reach.
If I'm married, can I still attend Within My Reach?Yes, you can be married or in a relationship and still attend Within My Reach. You work on your own relationship and communication skills first before working with your partner.
When does Within My Reach meet?Evening and daytime classes are offered once a week for 2.5 hours for typically 9 weeks. This program is free of charge and includes childcare and a meal. Transportation is also available for those who live in Binghamton, Johnson City, or Susquehanna Valley School Districts.
